Questions about ReceiptGrid

Trial, price, blurry photos, exports, and where the receipts live. Questions? Use Ask a question at the bottom of any page.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Creating an account starts a 14-day trial. You add a card only when you choose Monthly or Yearly on Billing. Payment is handled by Stripe.

What do I pay after the trial?

Monthly is $5. Yearly is $50 per year, plus applicable tax. Save $10 a year. Both plans are the full product. The difference is how often you are billed.

What if the photo is hard to read?

You can change the vendor, date, amount, tax, category, payment, and notes before you post the line. If Tesseract is not installed on the server, the file still uploads and you type the row. The original stays attached either way.

Can I give this to my accountant or the person who reimburses me?

Yes. Pick a date range on Reports and download Excel, CSV, or an accountant packet. The packet is a CSV of those lines plus the receipt images, named with the date and the vendor. You send the file. You do not have to share your login.

Where do the receipts live?

In your ReceiptGrid account on this site. They are not sold. A file leaves the account when you export it, or when you pay through Stripe.

Can more than one person use it?

The owner can add users in Settings. Each person signs in with their own username and password and sees their own receipts and ledger.

What happens when the trial ends?

Your lines stay in the account. Subscribe on Billing to keep working in the ledger. Until then, Billing is where you pick Monthly or Yearly. The owner of the site can also grant access.

Is this tax advice?

No. ReceiptGrid keeps the records: the slip, the date, the vendor, the amount, and the tax. Your preparer decides what is deductible. It does not file a return.
