Privacy Policy
This page says what ReceiptGrid stores, who operates it, and how to ask a question. Last updated October 28, 2026.
Who operates ReceiptGrid
ReceiptGrid at receiptgrid.pro is operated by REKKY Consulting LLC, a Utah limited liability company. Questions? Use Ask a question at the bottom of any page. You can also use the contact form. This site does not show a phone number or an email address.
Accounts
When you create an account, ReceiptGrid stores a username, a password hash (not the password itself), an optional display name, the time the account was created, and the end of the 14-day trial. If you turn on an authenticator, the site stores the secret and backup codes needed to check those codes. The theme you pick is saved in this browser and, when you are signed in, on your account, so the same colors follow you into new tabs and pages.
Receipts and the ledger
The product keeps the receipt photos and PDFs you upload, and the ledger lines you post. A line can include the date, vendor, description, category, amount, tax, payment method, notes, project, and whether the line is reimbursable. ReceiptGrid can remember a vendor’s category, payment method, and tax rate for the next slip from that vendor. Those files and rows stay in your account on the server that hosts this site. They are not sold.
You can delete your own ledger lines and receipt files. You can delete your own account from Settings or Billing. That asks for your current password and your username. A subscription that is still billing is canceled first, and the ledger and receipt files for that account are removed. The site owner can also delete an account.
Billing
A new account gets a 14-day trial. No card is required to start. After that, paid plans are $5 a month or $50 a year, plus applicable tax. Save $10 a year. You choose a plan on Billing. Stripe runs the checkout page and stores the card. ReceiptGrid stores the Stripe customer id, the plan you picked, and whether the plan is active. ReceiptGrid does not store the card number.
Contact form
The contact form asks for your name, an email address to reply to, an optional topic, and a message. The site stores that note for the owner and shows whether the mail send succeeded. The address that receives the mail is not shown on the page. A short wait, a hidden field, and a limit of five messages an hour for that visitor reduce junk submissions. The limit uses a hash of the visitor’s IP address for about an hour. The IP address itself is not written into the message.
Help bot
Ask a question answers from a list of questions stored with the site. If the owner has turned on the optional model and a key is set, the question you typed is sent to that model with a short description of ReceiptGrid and the closest list entries. The ledger, your username, and earlier questions in the chat are not sent. A question the list does not answer can be saved on the server as the question text and the time, so the owner can read it. The same kind of short IP hash used by the contact form limits how often the bot can be called.
Sign-in cookie
Signing in sets a cookie named rg. It keeps the session, is limited to this site, and is not used for advertising. It lasts for the browser session.
